squad commands select button highlight enemies and flags

tried this in tutorial but tapping select did not work. Do i have to be in a squad in game and then tap select? Can I get points if squad objective is achieved? Eg capture the highlighted flag? Can i look at enemy and push select to highlight them? Also is it true you get points for getting those stamps?

seems nobody knows or cares. I know it is possible on PS3 as I've seen team mates put a circle around flag. instructions say tap select and point to flag but I tried last night in a squad and didn't work. If you get points for achieving squad objective you'd think more people would do it or at least know how to do it...

Hi Chester. Just wanted to chime in. From day one, I have never used that feature or even paid attention to the highlighted flags. I just use my own judgement accordingly and adjust to how the rest of my team plays. This is a very team oriented game but I must admit that I play lone ranger 80% of the time. I only squad spawn in tough games when capturing flags is a neccessity.

On the other hand, I have been ground pounding a lot lately resulting my kill/death ratio to decrease significantly.

I was not aware of this wizardry in which you speak of. with good enough sqaudmates it seems it may be redundant, but am interested in the anwer nonetheless.

Ok I finally succeeded in issuing the squad commands. Handy if u don't have microphone and want to point out where the action should be. Simply point ur gun while not in a vehicle towards any flag and tap select. Created circle. When the objective is achieved it is possible you get some sort of points as I have read that somewhere, but if you do it doesn't come up on the screen. With all the captures/kills/assists it's hard to be sure if u get points or not but my suspicion is yes. Further testing required.

The select feature only works when you highlight your gun in the exact direction of the flag and hit it. Only thing is, nobody really listens to it and as far as I know, there are no added points for activating this feature. Sad I know, I always wondered why they never followed up on that...
